Current Job Vacancy:
Cooper Automotive are looking for a Full Time Workshop Foreman for our Launceston Service Centre.
About the Job:
The Workshop Foreman will be hands on while monitoring and managing the quality of work undertaken by the mechanics working under their supervision. Working with the Service Centre Manager, the Workshop Foreman will help with day to day operations.
Other aspects of the role will include but are not limited to;
- Vehicle Servicing
- Mechanical repairs & diagnostics
- Quality control of workmanship
- Open and close workshop
- Ensuring a clean and safe workshop
About You:
To succeed in this role you will need the following;
- Trade certificate
- Current manual driver licence (mandatory)
- Ability to deal with customers effectively and efficiently
- Ability to read and comprehend workshop/service manuals and technical information websites
The successful applicant must be a qualified technician who is highly skilled and able to carry out a wide range of repairs and experienced in vehicle diagnostics.
