Ben – Service Centre Manager Hobart

“I keep coming back to Cooper Automotive, so I obviously like it. They’ve looked after me and sponsored me so I could stay in the country rather than go back to the UK (I tried but didn’t like it!) it’s a good place to work and great to have a trade to rely on.”

James – Service Centre Manager Lindisfarne

“I kind of fell into the work here in grade 10, but have no regrets. I work with great people and have been through two apprenticeships as a light vehicle mechanic and auto electrician. If you work hard the opportunities will come. “

Tim – Assistant Manager/Mechanic Hobart

“I’ve been here for 5 years and came here straight from grade 11. I’ve done my mechanical apprenticeship and I am now training as an auto electrician as well as learning more about the management side. They have provided all the training and they really look after all their staff.”

John – Mechanic Mornington

“This is my second time around at Cooper Automotive and I’ve now been here for 9 years. I’ve worked everywhere but came back as I know the people and like the work. It’s a good atmosphere and even with the wide variety of cars we get we have the right procedures in place so that we know what’s on for the day. It helps if you’re motivated and tech-savvy nowadays and of course, interested in cars!”
